- 1991-1996 – M.S. studies at the Faculty of Biology of Warsaw University, Poland
- 1996-2002 – Ph.D. studies at the Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Poland
- 1998-2002 – founder and Member of the Board of Directors of ONYX Ltd., an interactive agency providing services to numerous Polish and foreign corporate customers
- 2002-2004 – project manager at the Centre for the Promotion of Information Technology (IT PRO), organiser of prestigious IT conferences
- 2004-2007 – postdoctoral training at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, Lexington, USA, documented with numerous publications in esteemed, reviewed science journals concerned with microbiology and infectious diseases
- 2007-2010 – President of the Board of Directors of the CEMED Ltd. Centre for Medical Education, a private educational unit providing postgraduate education for physicians
